the Advan you are looking at are amazing tires, one of my top 2 favorites, but for the road it will be a fun 8-10 THOUSAND MILES if that..but it will be fun!!!!! Go for it...THE TREAD DESIGN IS BEAUTIFUL

Help from Gill
Gill,
Can you verify this? I do want these tires, but they seem to run really wide. I am currently running RE-11 on stock rims. Eric |

225/255 will work perfectly fine on the stock wheels.

I have 225/255 RE-11’s mounted now.
My concern is that the ADVAN Neova AD08 are significantly wider than any of the other extreme performance tires with Tirerack. According to them, the AD08 are half an inch wider than my RE-11’s and 1” wider than R-S3’s. I have a stock suspension plus M3 front control arms and sway bar. |

I will say this. My 255 Michelin's do not rub. My 265 Bridgestone's did rub over large dips in the road. The AD08 runs very wide.
I'd say you're right on the cusp.

I just had this configuration installed this morning on stock rims. Currently my only suspension mod is the BMW Performance Suspension Kit....No rubbing so far but I'll post again later in the week after more varied driving conditions.
First time switching from Runflats to Non-runflats. Any suggestion on inflation pressures for the Yoko's for [aggresive] street driving?

I really like the Ad08s. I have Lotus spec AD07s on the Elise, and they are amazing tires. But tread wear on a 3200 pound car has to be alot less than on a 1800 pound car. Are there any other tire choices that give you the grip but with decent tread life? New Michelins?
