Hey guys,

Im trying to get an idea of what it will cost to ship my 4 OEM 19" wheels WITH PS2s. Does anyone know what they weigh each?

I am pretty sure I know how to package them but I would love to hear from some people who have done it.

Get some cardboard rounds that are big enough to cover the wheels. Two on the front (face) of the wheel, one on the back. Wrap in heavy duty, shipping suitable plastic wrap (Fedex can help with that.) Figure roughly $50-60 per wheel, depending on shipping distance, insurance, etc. I always have shipped wheels Fedex Ground, their prices seem to always beat UPS and I find their service is better, too.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I was going to packing the 2 fronts and then the 2 rears together. I was going to face them towards each other with cardboard in between and then cardboard on the outside and then plastic wrap all that. So I would have 2 sets of 2 wheels/tires.

I have been using fedex for quotes as well. They seem to be the best from what I hear. Where can I get that plastic wrap tho? Or should I just let fedex do that?

If you're shipping wheels AND tires, I'd do them individually. They're going to be too heavy if packed in 2, and you increase the risk of handling damage IMO. Your call.

The weight is too much for two tires together on FedEx or UPS, so pack each one separately. I paid $160 for the four, plus another $42 for insurance for Ohio to Virginia. Distance is a factor than can add around 15% for cross country. FedEx ground was $20 cheaper than UPS in total.

Thanks for the input guys. I will pack them individually for sure then. Anyone know where to get that plastic wrap tho? Any other packaging suggestions? I was just going to do cardboard cutouts on each side and then use the plastic wrap that is like heavy duty saran wrap.
