Any dyno results ... and do they have bungs for all of the factory O2 sensors? I assume it won't throw any CEL's?

Cheers,

They have the factory first O2 sensor bung just like the Euro headers OEM, they will do the same as the OEM euro version so you will have the CEL's with this one too, my intent is to use this one with the supercharger from ESS or the ESS chip, they have a better flow because they don't have many welds like the aftermarket ones and they are custom for our cars (z4M) so that said you will have headers that is almost the same as the ones from the european cars (better quality them OEM).

The intent is to give options to the OEM or aftermarket ones, not to fix any problems..

they will have the shape of this ones but in SS.

would adding a second O2 bung with a spacer solve the CEL issue - this worked on my previous turbo modified Nissan.

Intersted.

I don't know if that would solve the problem but would not cost much more to have that added to it if you can send me a picture of what you are talking about that would give me a better idea, and please support this theory with more data.

If its custom id much rather them go more extreme then just the oem set up + use much better merge collectors and or try experimenting with reverse cone set ups ect.
Looking at their work it looks like they should have a good idea based on engine specs ect to modify the design to gain much more power.

I don't think you could get more power than what you get from Supersprint's Stepped Headers, something around 25hp. The normal after market headers from Supersprint and AA give around 20hp. I'm expecting these to do the same except they'll have a lower resale value.

At $1,300, I'd rather get Supersprint or AA which are both $1,399 retail.

^ Thats sort of my point. If we are paying this much and they are custom made, why not max the design for full potential.

Yes you can, I just talked to the rep and he says thaT for a 100$ extra they could shape it and add a merge colector what will eliminate turbulence and increase performance flow to 98.2%. The proved gains on this setup in other models with similar engines was of 32 to 37 hp. I also spoke with him about mod the midle section cat and his answer was tha they can build one with With hi flow catalytic converters and add the o2 bungs there what should eliminate the Codes also with that the performance would increase but they don't have numbers for performance for that mod since they are specific to each car.

Diokaef,

Do these headers work for non-M versions? As you know I have a 2005 3.0i (S54). Any idea as to the performance gain?

Thanks,
David

Euro headers are stainless. I meen there are already a bunch aftermarket out there, what's going to make these any better?

I ended up getting CSL on the cheap anyway.

He's not very forum savvy, I don't think he gets the basics. Try not to hold it against him.

Diokaef, no SS holds its color under exhaust temperatures, they all bronze over time.

That it will be a longer tube design does not mean they are a copy of euro headers, so this makes a little more sense if they aren't going to be like the other headers out there.

Changing tube lengths changes the engine characteristics. Longer usually means loss on low end and a gain on the high end compared to shorter tubes (which are usually designed to compromise the best between the two).

Sorry about the post I really love the people on this forum and I want to give the chance to make their cars better.

About the SS not hold it's finish I have to call ant talk to the rep to see if they do a chromo plating or what they do.

And: I was going to only copy the euro headears and the People post on here That they want it better some how, so now that I'm only on design stage I can play a little be with this and improve it,

yes You are complete right about that on loss on low end and a gain on the high end, but we came with a little gadget on this that will balance things out.
low end make it more friendly drive on the day by day basics in my opinion ( not saying that is how is going to be just how I like mine) but anyways after getting this I m also getting a new middle section custom with a 100 cpsi cat converter from magnaflow to have less back pressure.
