Talking Just Installed: HRE C97 Wheels

Sorry in advance for the poor pics. It was starting to rain as the guys were finishing the install. I'll try for better tomorrow.

HRE C97's with gloss black/polished lip. Kudos to Derrick, Stefan and crew at D2 AUTOSPORT (Plainview, NY) for their excellent work.

I don't know if this look is for everyone, but I'm ing over my own ride.

r those 18's?

edit: jUST READ the rire sizes. Its the step lip that makes them look smaller. I actaully think it looks great. Just one suggestion that u will getb from 98.9% of the forum. DROP it ASAP. And it will look 10x better. Those r great wheels.

Front and rear, or just the front?

Slamming the rear would have me worried about fender rub. These rims have much less offset then the OEM's. 14 front, 11 rear.

They look tiny. I do not like 20's, but they look like 16's.

You probably want to be careful how much you drop your car since NY roads can be very unforgiving. I lived out there for most of my life and know how it feels to bottom out.

I would recommend the H&R Sport springs. 0.6" in the rear and 1.0" in the front will look good and will allow enough travel for bad roads.

Beautiful setup. Looks track-ready. A set of H&R Sports would do wonders.

I'm starting to like the idea more and more.

Is there an issue with EDC? What about ride quality/comfort?

The wheels look smaller than usual because your tires are begging for some tire shine Lube those puppies up.

Fixed
