Damn. Didn't you just realize every non-M coupe owner's secret wish and trade up to the M only 3-4 months ago? As one of the aforementioned folks that gets tempted by the trade up every so often I'd be interested if you'd be willing to comment on how the transition went - what you liked, what you didn't, etc. If you're willing to say I'd also love to know how much out of pocket the trade cost you.
Thanks and best of luck with your sale. |

Yes- it was very recent. It didn't cost too much out of pocket for me to jump up but the wife and I are both trying to lower the monthly debt to the luxury gods (which is now why I am looking to lighten the load).
Love everything about the switch- which is saying alot, as I adored the Zcoupe. The power is really thrilling- it is such a mechanical, sharp car. I appreciate the good/ sad wishes. If I can't get the price I need to make this a money saving operation (and not a take-me-to-the-cleaners one) I'll keep stretching the paycheck and keep the car, which as I'm sure you could understand would suit me just fine... I've seen 06's with a slightly higher price on a few sites, which is why I placed it there.
There's also some road rash on both right side wheels from the first owner so the car is not auto-show pristine (although that's the only defect). If someone wants to offer me more, I'm of course happy to take it! Z |

Please let us know when it sells. It seems like a good price to me - i.e. one that will actually get the car sold. Too often around here we see prices based on wishful thinking, and the cars languish unsold for month after month.
If yours sells in a couple/few weeks as I suspect then your price will put in a realistic floor for Z4M coupes. If it doesn't sell then all of us have an unrealistic expectation of our Coupes' value. And if you have multiple offers and it sells in the next couple of days then I guess it really was underpriced. |

Well, I asked a few dealers just as a reference, and those offers were from all around 24. I have found that dealers offer about about 5 under what a car is usually worth if they think you are not desperate or the like (if you are, then they offer 10 under!). That puts the car right at 29.
I DID get two very serious looks at 29,5 last week. One decided to buy a new house instead (tough to argue with that), the other just has his heart set on Black (I might argue with that). I'm just trying to take the game- time out of it, by listing the lowest I'll go. If it's lower, it actually doesn't give me the financial relief I need anyway and I'll keep the car, which is certainly NOT a bad outcome, as you all know... V- By the way, how do you like Ventura? Always thought that would be a beautiful place to live... |

Greetings! I'm one of the ones who looked at this car- i just wanted to chime in.
someone really needs to buy this car. it is extremely clean-- interior can only be described as immaculate. the exterior is as zelig has described, which is pretty much 99th percentile, esp since this is a car that is driven regularly. the mods are what anyone would do-- chip, rpi intake. drives perfectly- strong, tight, no abnormal noises. i did a carfax, and it is clean. i would have absolutely no hesitation on buying it, except that i'm buying a lake house. good luck with the sale! |
