Photo Shoot AW E92 M3 w/ 19" VMR V710s Solar Black - Sunny Day Pics
Finally, I had time to take pictures on a sunny day of my 19" VMR V710 from Pyspeed.com. The wheels were custom powder coated by Pyspeed.com in a color called Solar Black. Just PM or e-mail Eric and he'll set you up.
Yes, I know I need to lower the car...but in Houston, it's not practical or safe! Racing Dash (RD) Angel Eyes (also bought from Pyspeed.com) |

Thanks...you noticed...I did spend about 2 hours washing the car. What really stands out are the tires. I'm using a product made by Wheel Wax called Extreme Black for tire shiner. You can order it from EAS. This Extreme Black stuff is awesome and lasts for over a week.

Looks damn good, man. I really like what you've done with your car over the last couple of months.

I know how you feel about lowering the car in Houston. oh my god I remember reading how the roads are messed up in Houston. I was driving on them at night time lots of pot holes big bumps and stuff on the road a real hazard to a lowered car like mine with a Hamann front lip. I don't even clear a soda can laying on its side or even if you step on a soda can standing straight up I won't clear it. A VRS front lip like yours sits straight out so you will still be okay more like 50/50. But if you have a Hamann front lip like mine that goes straight down then you are F@#k%d and that's when you worry because, I don't clear the slightest driveways. Take a look at this pic with my M3 compaired to Blake's he has a VRS front lip and his car is not lowered and he lives in Dallas.
Thanks for posting your pics I will be in the Houston area the first weekend in Dec. I would like to check out your car and meet some of you Houston guys in person. I will be back from Iraq by then Last edited by SHADY1; 10-18-2009 at 01:54 PM.. |

SHADY1:: Your car is ultra low up front. How the heck do you ever get on a lift? Also, how do you get your car up on an alignment machine? Those alignment machine ramps are ultra steep. Also driveway entrances to shopping centers must be a nightmare for you, too.
In Houston, I tend to drive on the same roads every day. So, I've memorized which lane is safe to drive in and free of pot holes and unnecessary stumps in the road. I'm sure everybody on the forum memorizes all the road hazards in their local area. Last edited by frankzlin79; 10-18-2009 at 10:43 AM.. |

it would be great to have 20" VMR but I doubt they or anyone else will do it for now as they would be extremely heavy |
