***Took the day off from Wall St, Spent the day (and my $) at Rogue Engineering***

Finally bit the bullet on an exhaust after hearing Adam's the other night. I got the Meisterschaft GT with SR connecting pipes. I know people have negative opinions on this exhaust because of the company that sold them but the actual Meisterschaft brand is very well known, well made piece.

I also installed HR Springs, Rogue Spacers (15mm front, 12mm rear), and a Macht Schnell Air Filter.

Here are some pics and also a video I just took before it got too dark out. More pics of the final product this weekend.

I honestly am blown away by the sound of this exhaust. Yes it is loud! I went back and forth with listening to the Eisenmann Race and the Meister and while the Eisenmann I think has a deeper tone, this is more of a higher exotic pitch and also slightly louder. I'll let the pics/vid do the talking...

nice! congrats!

from the pics, it looks like your exhaust has butterfly valves. how do you control the open/closed settings?

Nope, its just a "split tip" gimmick.

Yes,

It is a split tip design exclusive to the GT and GT2 systems. Not sure what they do besides maybe help create one of the most intoxicating sounds my ears have ever heard...wow i am in love with this system.

any droning?

I have heard that most of the exhaust systems out there, sound awesome, but have a drone. Sure that would be ok for short term, but that would get old real quick.

Rogue Engineering is in Ho-Ho-Kus. You have to hear this thing in person to appreciate it. What a great sound.

Haven't noticed any droning yet but I have heard from Adam there is a little in 6th gear at about 2000 rpms. I haven't been past 4th gear yet but I have not noticed any droning.

Sounds great! I was thinking of getting the touring HP rather than the GT as it sounded
just a little too loud for me. Congrats and good choice.

Looking good Straz, glad that you love your exhaust because I love mine everytime I fire up the car.

There is a drone in 6th gear around 3000rpm, but under load. It is not that bad though.

I got to bring my car by Rogue when they release the SSK. I want to pick that up as my next mod.

Looking and sounding good Straz! I definitely prefer the higher pitch note over the deeper sounding exhaust. Now I gotta listen to it in person.

I going down to the M Performance School this weekend but when I get back I gotta have a look at this thing! Let me know when your around the way bro.

How do the spacers and the springs look? I was going to go with 10mm and was even contemplating 5mm to keep it subtle and just push it a tad out.

BTW, you got rims planned? Need more pics asap too!

Love it man...thanks for once again making me broke!

SSK is the best mod for this car...when you want to check out Rogue's kit let me know. I know it will be available within a few weeks to purchase.

Anytime man! Let me know when you are back and we will meet up. I guarantee you love this exhaust. Spacers and springs look fantastic. I'm more impressed with the spacers as the factory look should have came like this. It gives that bulldog appearance and makes the wheels flush to both the front and rear fenders. 15mm front, 12mm rear is perfectttt! The springs I was worried would give me a harsher ride but I found that what most of the other guys said is true...EDC is now about 1 notch further than usual. Comfort now feels like Normal, Normal now feels like Sport, Sport now feels like "more Sport" haha.

I am planning on wheels...something black. Keeping that a secret for now. That is the next set of mods along with some CF exterior parts.

I LOVE THIS CAR!

Cheaper than AA & Eisenmann and kind of sounds like a blend of the two with a lot more volume.
