Stereo is driving me nuts

When I load my hard disk Ipod into Winamp Media library, everything has correct ID3 tags.

When the Pro Hifi headunit loads it up, alot of stuff is messed up. stupid characters and junk everwhere....

Any ideas? Is there some kinda software I can use (Winamp doesnt see it) to ensure all my songs are labelled correctly.

Makes playing music a pain in the arse!

Thanks

Have you tried labeling with iTunes?

Its because the BMW Professional Hifi does not read the MP3 ID information; it just reads and displays the file name. When iTunes loads an iPod, it does't just copy all the files over; it organizes them in folders A1 through An and the songs are relabeled to a four digit alphanumeric. I hate it and really don't think the system works well with iPods which is why I've switched over to MP3 CDs.

Hmmm... maybe the Aus electronics handle things differently than the US.
