Premium sound people - post your EQ settings

If you are an audiophile, please post your EQ settings you have on your stereo. I have a terrible ear so I will not embarrass myself by posting mine. But I would like to know your EQ settings so I can adjust mine so it will sound good to other people in the car. Thanks!

The biggest thing I did was fade it back a click, those tweeters are right in you face and it seems to help a bit. HD Radio is a little bright (stations do this intentionally), so if I'm not feeling lazy I will knock down the rightmost eq (or rightmost two) 1 block or just use the "treble" setting and knock it down one. The midrange is a bit weak so depending on you taste you might want to bump the midranges a block up. The bass is actually pretty tight if a bit heavy, again depending on tase you might want to knock the leftmost eq's down a block or so.

Overall they did a decent job of keeping everything flat from the factory and you really aren't missing much if you leave everything alone. Also note that the eq does change with speed to compensate for road and wind noise (automatically). I'd also make sure you do you listening with the engine on, my opinion changed bigtime when I realized I was doing all my listening with no engine noise (it was way too bright with engine off).

My findings are similiar to john970's. Though I do back off 80hz much less with HD radio than Sirius in my previous setup, sirius was near impossible to regulate bass as different stations appeared to have different bass.

john 970. Are you saying the EQ settings dynamically change with
car speed? If you open up the EQ settings, have they 'moved'?

I keep it on Music; Cinema seems like it tries to fill in for a center channel and sounds decent at lower volumes and some music, but doesn't sound very good loud or for hard to very hard rock...e.g. Sirius 27 or 20.....

My other car has a RF Punch 325.1 and a 12" Pioneer DVC ...... I am missing the heavy bass..... but really don't want to loose the room..... oh, dilemma, dilemma.....
