Adding USB Jack
Is it possible to add the USB input jack myself. Im not concerned about the Ipod I just want to be able to plug in a flash drive with songs on it since when I play an mp3 CD the first 40 songs usually skip for some reason.
Are the radios the same? Is this possible without swapping out the radio? |

At this point you might be better off just to buy a high capacity MP3 player, for $150 - $200 and play songs through the AUX port. I have the Insignia Pilot expanded to 16 GB and it works great for under $200. |

Hi All,
I don't understand why you guys don't look at RealOEM for things like this. Bmw has A LOT of add on options. Just do some poking around on the parts film. Here is what you are looking for: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...14&hg=65&fg=95 Good Luck, David |

Looks to me like you can add one! Why would bmw go to teh trouble of selling a accesory kit then>?
I think most people at the dealerships do not know what they have to sell. Just look at the Performance Parts! lol you guys should really look on RealOEM, bc they have a lot of cool accs that we can order thru bmw. You just need to know the part numbers. take care David |

I'm very interested. However, no price listed for most of those items.
What does this mean? For vehicles with Navigation system, Professional = No and Navigation system Business = No and Radio BMW Professional = No and On-board monitor with TV = No |

THIS is the kit for our US spec cars. There are several kits - depending on your radio and Navi options. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...60&hg=65&fg=95 bye David |

for those considering the retrofit kit offered by dealers / realoem.com
Supposedly simply plugs into the CD changer port and runs off that and according to one person who has it installed - is slow - cuts off artist names/track titles oh well.. tough luck I guess |
