Anyone wish the stereo could go louder?

I just got my 128i with Premium Audio today. The sound is pretty awesome, but with the windows down going down the highway, I kinda wish it could go louder. I keep turning the dial, but it doesn't do anything. :P

Good to hear is sounds great. But maybe your going too fast with your windows down.

are you listening to burnt cd's? or MP3's?

Cause I have a convertible.... and Max is obscene, even with the top down.

Some of my mp3's that aren't as good quality, are a lower lvl. That is the only time I ran out of volume!!

yeah, i think volume is fine (read= treble) i think the bass could use a little more punch. this is why i am looking to add a 10" sub. there are multiple threads on adding a little bass if you look around

maybe im being dumb (maybe), or im getting old (quite likely!!)... but why don't you just wind the windows back up, that way it will be louder for you..

are you listening to an ipod? because that could be quiter if it going throug hthe headphone jack and the ipod volume isn't all the way up.

i've learned on the freeway to just open the sunroof, or the moonroof instead of the windows.
