Does the Nav speak to you?
Female/ Male ?
Accent ?

Voice command is Male, nav voice is Female.

The accent (and language) depends on the market. In the US, it's a standard "American" accent.

With the Mk IV Nav systems, you could hack the install CD and get different voices/accents (also splash screens and POI icons).

I haven't seen anything for hacking iDrive Nav systems.

Thanks Larry right after I posted that I ended up downloading a torrent filled with voices! Thanks for the tip on to this stuff, I can't wait to see what my GF says.
