Would You?

So check it out. I have Stop Tech 380/365 kit which is currently not installed on my M3. There was an issue with it and my shop fixed it. But it's just sitting. Still off the car. My M3 is not a track car. At some point it was going to be a tertiary track car but I'm not going to the track much at all anymore and I had two other track cars and now down to just one other track car.

I love the OEM look of my M3 and I do like the Stop Tech brake kit (in black) but isn't OEM and so just don't want it to clash at this point (yes I'm beyond OCD). I could have them painted to look OEM like the blue M brakes on the newer M cars (pick is M8 brakes). And then install them. Might look pretty sick. Or I could just sell the Stop Techs. Dunno. I like y'alls opinions.

Sounds like you should just sell them. Use the money for something you're passionate about.

Another variable. Just say money is not relevant to the decision.

I mean of course money matters, but more trying to understand if u guys would think it would look so amazing that I just should do it.

Are the rotors slotted or cross drilled? CD will obviously look more OE and if the dust guards have already been modded I'd say slap them on. Nice thing about stoptechs and 19's is they don't look like too much. There's plenty of clearance between the wheel and the caliper in all directions, they'd look good done in blue with the m logo as per newer models especially with the gold rotor hat hardware, it'll add some flavor.

I would install the stoptechs and go to counseling for the OCD.

They are slotted so will look a little non-oem. I dont have any good pictures with them on the car....this is the best I have.

If that's the case. I'd install the black STs and definitely don't paint them blue. Black will look great and barely draw any attention. The f8x brakes aren't anything special, I wouldn't try to replicate those.

Or even paint them full black without the ST logos and call it a day.

That works too.

M3 GTS has M logos on black calipers.
