Tape Needed to Reattach M4 Fender Emblem

I purchased Autotecknic gloss black m4 fender trim and it does not come with the emblems. I was able to remove the emblem from the stock silver trim and get rid of all the tape in the back to reattach to my new fender trim.

Looking at the old tape, it was probably no more than 1mm thick. Does anyone know where to purchase that thin of tape? I have been looking through 3m's web site and getting overwhelmed with how many different tape options they carry and where to purchase.

Most local stores only carry double sided tape that is 1/4 inch thick and wider.

Amazon
3M RP16. It’s 0.016 in. (0.4 mm) thick
Or
RP45. It’s 0.045 in. (1.1 mm)

Not sure if it makes a whole lot of sense to get so much tape for such little emblems.

Reach out to iND to see if they have a small strip they can sell you or look at Scotch brand double sided tape. It’s thin and clear and maybe double or triple layering can get you what you’re looking for.

Thanks! I was able to find RP45 off ebay for cheap and the size needed! 1.1 mm looks closer to the oem tape thickness that was on the emblems.
