A couple of weeks ago, on my way to a drive and lunch with a local Z group, I came up on a 911 Turbo S that I was drooling over. After passing the van, I moved over to get a better look at the Turbo. Then as I sped away, I noticed the same van that I'd just passed is now on my right and is speeding up to pass me. As the van pulled ahead, he starts waving to get my attention - Uh oh...road rage or is something wrong with my car? When I look over, he gave me a big smile and a thumbs up Mostly, I was surprised that the 11-year-old Z was still able to turn heads over the Turbo S, that was just a few feet away! Perhaps the Turbo looked too ordinary in LA LA Land that outside of car communities, no one cares about it anymore?

All great points - the exclusivity of certain cars are diminished when they're as thick as fleas....you Z4MC is clearly not in the lineup of many cars - it's exclusive all by itself.

I've had people ask me why I didn't get a Porsche or a Vette. My basic response is that they are a dime a dozen. Far too common. You don't see many Z4's around.

I had a guy walk up to me as I was filling up a few weeks ago and strike up a conversation. He knew what my car was and asked a few questions about it, while complimenting it. After finishing I was curious as to what he was driving, so I looked over in the direction he'd headed and there he was - with his Porsche GT3.
