Help me ID this Fastener
I replaced the driver and passenger rubber door trim today since it was looking tired and worn. To do that, I needed to remove the plastic/fabric interior trim piece that runs along the rear quarter window and the door frame (see pic). In doing so, I snapped a few fasteners (the white ones in the pic) and haven't been able to ID them to track down replacements.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! -Mike

I think I had that same fastener piece break on me awhile back although it was on the driver side pilar cover. I went to the dealer. We looked through realoem.com for the part number.
Long story short, no dice on a replacement; ended up using a substitute part from the E46 catalog, not a 100% fit, I think I ended up having to do some filing for the part to fit into the pillar cover. Things like this start to worry me especially given the car's age and rarity. Last edited by Mtxzptlk; 07-28-2019 at 09:16 PM.. |
