Best traction Tire you have had.

I am looking for the best traction tire out there for street legal. I am pushing 560 horse stage 2 and would like it to hook up the very best possible at least . I am use to awd 911 TT.

I suspect re71r, 888s, psc2 are among the top tires.

I can launch my CS on warm NT01s with nearly zero slip. They look mean too but you're putting yourself in a lot of danger when it comes to standing water with any of these. Don't ever expect it to behave like a 911 4. It's not achievable.

You'll be happy with Cup2s or any of the other streetable track tires so long as you manage your expectations accordingly. Wet handling is significantly reduced, they will wear faster, and the price point is higher.

Depends on what wheel you have. My car has 20" 763Ms but I run the Nittos on 18" APEX EC-7s.

Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S in the rear. Hands down. Nothing is stickier.

Within the next few months the New Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport R and Supersport RS will be out - they are already getting some great preliminary reviews.

Over stock Michelin PSS, you'd notice a significant improvement in traction just by going to a slightly wider PS4S on the rears (e.g. 295/30R20).
Wet handling is actually better, and I've been hearing that they hold up much better on track than the PSS (where you'll destroy the outer shoulders of the front tires in 20 mins!)

I drive an M4 ZCP (with M Performance HAS) and have no problem with rubbing on 275 front, 295 rear. No spacers.

(The rubbing mentioned in that thread seems to be an M3 issue).

Yes I have an M3. Would love to put 275 up front but seems to be not possible

Been running RE71r’s for almost 2 years now. Very confident with them in the warmer temps. Just a little noisy but I prefer the grip over the sound.
