Z4 Rear brakes new drilled rotor doesn't fit.?
Waited a week for my new Rotors and Pads. Nice and shiny, but no go. Says right on them .....For rear drivers side and rear passenger side. Vented rotors are too thick for the Caliper Brackets. Sucks. Now what?
2003 2.5L auto. Anybody know what's what? |

Sounds like they are the wrong parts.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

They shipped you (or you ordered) the rotors for a 3.0i. They're ventilated rotors and are 294mm diameter and 19 mm thick (BMW part number 34216794303). Your 2.5i takes a solid rotor that's 280mm diameter and 10mm thick (BMW part number 34216794306).
