E46 Parts Question
Is there anyone out there who knows if some parts from the E46 2.5i engine can be used on an E85? I know that the Chassis code is different so the exhaust is out of the question, but what about headers? Maybe an intake, I know that the air-box is the same but what about the routing of the intake piping? Im looking for a performance increase but am on a limited budget, any recomdations are greatly appreciated.

well i too am researching this. it appears that most mods should work between the 03 325 and the z4 2.5. software wouldn't work as the dme is different but intake and headers should carry over.
i'm in the process of trying out different intake set ups to see what works the best, as well as finding a way to properly tune my z4 (more akin to what the japanese tuners use with piggyback computers) without relying on a one size fits all reflash that isn't tuned for MY car. |
Appreciate
