Back in M Town

Picked up a 2015 Silverstone F80 today. all the fixings except for the full leather and top view camera. 6 speed manual as well.

This is my 3rd M3. Had a black e36m3, then a imola/imola e46 6 speed. Both great cars. Had them each for about 4 years. Then traded the e46 for a GTR which was then traded for a 458 after 3 years. I missed having a manual so I got an FRS a few years ago to take to work, very fun car and I do miss it. But the interior was awful and everything rattled. I traded that in for a f30 335i with zf 8 speed to take to work. But it was super boring to drive.

In the end I ended up buying a cheap beater civic to take to work. And I picked up an F80 today to fill that manual itch and just have something that's nice and relaxing to drive and can also go into full beast mode with a couple button presses and mods. To me it really takes the best parts of the FRS and 335i and combines it into one

^ 458 with novitec springs/spacers. Tubi Exhaust.

Lol it's from the last owner. I've thought about getting it pulled out. But it adds to the character. Makes me look poor and cops less likely to pull me over for a ticket. The car is a work horse tho. I bought it 6 months ago. 50,000 miles for $6k.

Nice F80...nice companion for the 458 for sure. I’m in the Civic club as well. 2007 5pd sedan 262k miles and going strong! No big dent though in the rear...haha

for sure. getting rid of the chrome is the first step on every bmw. just trying to get some seat time in first, its been nothing but snow/rain here for the last week or so.
