Last week noticed a small puddle underneath car that was rose colored...took under shielding off and found what I think is the source. Looked on parts diagram but can't seem to find out what it is...located above control arm

If you look to the left of the steering column you can see pinkish residue on top of whatever that part is

That is impossible on a 07 Z4 3.0si
Looks to me you have a coolant leak somewhere (and red coolant). What you're looking at is the motormount covered in it. Maybe some more info on the car? Manual? automatic? (automatics have an oil cooler integrated in the radiator that could technically be a culprit too but it doesnt look like that)

No the car is manual and the coolant is 100 % without a doubt blue... the only thing I could think of was the supercharger oil, but that is bright red and there no signs of leaks anywhere, and the drain line is nowhere near where the puddle was found.

Aren't the OEM motor mounts oil filled?

The engine mounts were replaced with bimmerworld engine mounts quite some time ago now that I looked through some receipts....but there is a small pool of it right on top, but can't seem to find any leaks on any hoses above or near there

Did you have to fill the blower case after installation?
If so did you dribble some fluid when filling? Did you buy the blower new and did you remove the shipping plug and put in the breather plug? My Vortech pukes a bit of fluid from the breather plug when I abuse it. Edit OOPS I assume you have the centri

Yes some more info on the supercharger.
You write you have a drain line on that, so I also presume a (seperate) oil pump? (I have no idea how the ess vt1 is set up) And you take some pictures? And a picture of the puddle? Maybe stop driving as running the supercharger dry will certainly kill it (rather expensive part..., 2,5k or so for the charger itself) Potential fluid from an engine mount I find hard to believe as I also see fluid on the engine support bracket. Windshield wiper fluid... I dont know, the reservoir is on the other side of the engine. If it is, its probably coming from a leaky headlight washer at the drivers side? (but it seems higher up that that)

Unfortunately I dried up the puddle and 100% sure it wasn't from the supercharger. Even opened up a 4oz bottle of the oil and poured a dab out... not the same consistency nor color

Also check the fluid on the supercharger and it's still full...the drain line for supercharger is way lower then the motor mount and off to the right by 1'...Not sure if I will get to it today I will take more things apart as I try to figure out what it is

^Nope. They're blue.
Yep, 3.0 has electric PS. In answer to the original post, you've probably already figured out that's the motor mount. Left side, I think. If they're Bimmerworld, they're solid, so no oil to leak out of them as there would be on stock mounts. I broke open a stock mount and the oil was dark grey. IIRC stock coolant is blue, so it's coming down to that supercharger oil.

Haven't had the time to check again, but noticed zero leaks from the sc, and the puddle absorbed just like water, no smell not greasy...hopefully this weekend I can further diagnose the source.

Any other stuff you've bolted to your car that you haven't told us?
Preferably ones containing red liquids?

Check push connections at pump and nozzle. Sometimes those push to connect Fittings lose their grip and under pressure the tubing will push out of the fitting
