19x9,5 ET40 19x8,5 ET40 will it fit?
Dear 1Addicts,
I would love to fit the JR 22 wheels from Japan Racing Wheels but their max offset for this wheels is ET40. My question is, will they fit on a E82? The rim width can be a little less .. but I prefer not to. And I prefer my back wheels to be wider (ofcourse). I am running Billstein B12. And if they fit .. what tires should I use? (Preferd: Front: 19x8.5J Back: 19x9.5J) Last edited by Rikkert; 10-02-2018 at 09:24 AM.. |

on stock suspension, an ET 40 wheel will fit. lowering will result in the front rubbing, so get skinny tires (something like a 215/40R18 if you can help it).
you might need to get skinnier wheels (i believe an 8.5 width wheel is the maximum?) since you might hit the strut but i only have 18x8 wheels; i don't know about anything wider. cheers |

18x9 et 42 seem to fit for the track guys, but only with lots of front camber. 8.5 with et 40 should clear the strut fine, but you may run into issues on the fender side.
The rear may also have issues on the outside but you can fairly easily do the e90 hub mod to make them effectively et50 which should be fine. |

fit 225/35r19 front running B12's I think you're ok and would worry about bounce rebound on fender side, mentioned camber plates would tuck'm nicely. I have no worries suspension side.
255/30r19 rear same fender side issue maybe if the springs have worn I'd worry, camber plate again overall if the B12's fairly new I'd risk just tire and wheel and worry about camber after tire and wheel install. having this tire and wheel set up once suspension is worn and sloppy tho upgrade to coilovers with camber plates |

Tons of use are running setups similar to that but usually with et45 rears. If don't like stretched tires, don't like adding camber, can't deal with a little rubbing, then don't order those. If you really love the wheels you should be able to make it work. Play it smart and order your first set of tires in something that runs small like a Nitto, Toyo, or Falken.
My setup is listed in my profile, but notice that I did the rear hub mod and my rears are et45.

You should be able to get away with the 8.5 ET40 front with a 225/35/19 tire. The rear 9.5 ET40 will be to aggressive to run a proper sized tire. We generally recommend either ET45 with a 245/30/19 or ET50 with a 255/30/19 tire.
