MCS Install Questions

- Are there any bump stops used? I dont see any, I could reuse some stock bits.

- Are any of the stock parts retained for the rear dampers? I have the power flex race tops, but should the factory washer with bump stop be the first part of the stack? My guess is no.

- Anyone have a caster and ride height recommendations?

Thanks!

I've done this install a few times. Good choice BTW with the PFC BBK and the MCS!

Caster:
I was told 'as back as possible' so it's what I did on both camber plates.

Ride height:
You basically want to go as low in the rear as possible until you hit the fuel filler neck on the passenger side.
Eventually you'll be so low in the front that you'll rub the top of the wheel wells. That's too low

Bump stops:
None that I'm aware of front or rear. Not sure this is correct though

BW confirmed no bumps stops. Guess you don't want another thing acting as a spring - but never had a car without them.

I've got the Ground Control race plates and it seems like to get any real negative camber you cannot run maximum caster. You are fighting the circular hole in the chassis, and as the strut moves back you can't get it in as far for the camber. So is this just a balance you make?

Correct

I have the same plates as you and that's how I did it.

I have the 2way with remote reservoir.

I didn’t install any bump stop.

What’s the compression and rebound setting you plan to run?

I returned the GC race plates for mine, went with vorshlag plates instead for much easier camber adjustments.

The caster is preset to full rear, one less thing to worry about.
