delays, delays, and more delays

Is anyone elses car who was on sierra nevada highway stuck at the processing center for a problem to be fixed. I am so pissed i want to cancell my arrangments and get an m5. This car is from hell.

Sux man, i wouldn't get an M5. It would only hurt you. You would regret not having the M3.

What types of problems are they fixing? Is this related to DCT or other issues that could affect all current owners?

They will not share the problems with me at this time, but i have waited so long to take delivery it was supposed to be here the middle of april, then the 30th of may. What next 2009. Bmw has done a piss poor job or delivering to their customers.

I feel your pain. However, I think it's pretty obvious that US owners are getting the shaft because of the economy. Europeans are getting their cars much much sooner (yes I know they don't have to boat it over as often).

So your delivery date went from mid April to who knows when at VPC? I also would be super pissed..... Approaching 1.5 months at VPC....what can they possibly have to do that takes that long?

They could have totally rebuilt your car from shipping damages in that amount of time, and replaced the engine, vanos, etc.

I feel your pain. I ordered my car Feb. 11th and it was accepted by BMW Feb. 21st. my car just got completed so hopefully I will see it at the end of the month. Hang in there.

That's right BMW has done a very piss poor job, and they suck at it. This is my first and last time I will ever order a car from them. I feel your pain

I was two days from production and they sent me a e-mail as if nothing happened I got pushed back 2 months. Now I am week 25 I will see if they will wait til the last minute again and delay production on my M3 again.

I am just like you shit man. everyones production started but mine i hate it. I feel like canceling too but it will be a bad move i like the new audi

If your car just finished produciton don't get your hopes up for this month. Mine took 7 days to get to the Port of Bremerhaven then 10 days to get on a ship. Some people have waited for 3 weeks to get on a boat.

Not to bum you out but I ordered my car March 25 and my M-DCT Coupe will arrive at the SoCal VDC around 6/20.
