Amazing place I'm really lucky to have the opportunity to get out there. Here's a lap if you guys are planning to go out and want to see the North and South connected. Not an M3 but i did drive one out there for our recon laps.

Cheers.

Hey were you here Friday? My other buddies were there sat and sun. Was thinking of going on Sunday but it'll have to be next time. That place is awesome. Good stuff!

Fri Dec 15th a couple weeks ago. Weather was perfect! What an amazing place...hope to get out there again soon. Non-members is once per quarter from what I understand. Man if I just had a couple million just lying around....

Nice lap. Best I could do in my E92 M3 with StopTech BBK was 2:34. My buddy with his 991 GT3RS pulled a 2:15. I need to practice more! Too bad it gets expensive fast out there. Drake is a great guy.

Just takes some time to learn the track. Our group all opted no instruction just to learn the track/config ourselves and so as a result we were all making initial mistakes but learning and getting faster each session although the afternoon was getting a little slippery with all the sand/dust pushing on the track from the wind picking up. Just to compare others in our group first time with this config was a GTR with massive F and R aero and FBO e85 (650hp) with r888R's and he was mid 20's, a 997.2 Turbo S vert on slicks and coils and tune/FBO 600+ hp doing mid 20's also so you were doing great compared to these beastly cars. My buddy with a 991 Turbo on Trofeo R's who also ran the day before us was doing high teens and then went back last week same config did a 2:15. He picked up a few seconds each day. You would do the same and be high 20's on no time and maybe mid-20's just bring your wallet lol.

For sure. Cant wait to get back. Gets greasy out there with the heat and sand. My buddy went through a set of TrofeoRs in 2 days but mainly due to incorrect camber and uneven wear. I'm happy with my Pilot Sport 4S - they seem to last pretty well despite some decent feathering. Could probably change my camber up a bit. I'm jealous of the P cars ability to put the power down quick exiting corners. Then as you said some of these beasts have lots of torque and get up to speed fast. My car feels slow in relation but still love it as I'm far from it's true potential. Driver mod first. Did you get a chance to try North Desert? It is awesome and challenging!
