Can't you just log into bmwusa and enter your production number to get the status? Might be a US only thing, not sure.

I tried calling the USA number where they say it's Bmw North America, but they don't have any way of finding the car. I guess I have to continually bug my SA for updates. Would be nice to log in somewhere and check myself. I know I'm crazy like that.

That's crazy. I would think there should be some sort of tracking like we have in the US.

Unfortunately, tracking production of CA cars are dependent on the sales rep. Once it goes into production, your sales rep should have a production number. When the car is done (or completion date is scheduled) then you will get the VIN.

As for tracking the shipment, here is a link (see post #7), probably best thread here about tracking. Unfortunately, from Halifax to destination city is via CN rails and this leg can only be tracked by someone with access to CN rail's system.
