Best suspension upgrades?

I have a set of brand new front monoballs from HPA if you're interested, will let them go cheap.

I went with a different brand used, they're still in packaging

I have the front brake arm solid bearing from BW on two cars. It works wonderfully and is totally street friendly

that isn't the technical name. It's the bushing that goes on the arm that goes from the front hub to the frontal area of the car

Hahaha Brake-Arm Bearing is a new one. Sorry, don't mean to laugh but I love the the naming convention. Technically the brake connects to the hub which connects to the control arm so it's not wrong...

Pretty sure you've referring to the "upper control arm bushing" (inner position). A lot of track-rats will go with a monoball in that location. If you DD you'll want to leave it stock. This mod added more NVH than any other mod I've done to my car, going to align the car (this may be the cause of some NVH?) and hit the track next week - hopefully with improved braking stability/turn in and steering response.

This is the bushing that I had for sale... unfortunately I have returned it to HPA as I went with Rogue Engineering.

Ive replaced the lowers, not the uppers. definitely makes steering more crisp

If you are planning to track the car, front camber plates are a great upgrade. The factory adustment will take you to -1.5 degrees camber only. On track, the tire was rolling onto the sidewall under cornering even with high tire pressures.

Dinan fixed camber plates are only $200 and a worthwhile upgrade. Probably the best $200 upgrade I've added in a long time.

I'd like to do the same but part of the problem for me while researching has been that many of these parts are called different names by different people/web sites. Ex. Tension struts/upper control arms/inner control arms

I'd think that's the most obvious answer... but the OP's suggestions seemed more "in addition to coilovers" kind of upgrades.

But if the OP doesn't already have coilovers, that would be the first thing to do.

I just don't get it. If you are going to get camber plates which is a great investment, get quality plates (Vorshlag) which can adjust in and out and give you caster adjustment as well.

I have the Dinan plates. They are dumb hunks of aluminum that use the stock upper mounts and that's a good thing for a street car (just search clunk on here for why) Camber with the Dinan plates is adjustable (same total range as stock, range is just shifted negative by a little over a degree) the range just isn't as big as the fancy plates

Coupling the Dinan plates with one of the coil systems designed to be used with the stock upper mounts would make for a pretty idiot proof street coilover system, and with some front lowering you would still be able to get to -3 or so. I'm at -2.5 with stock springs and the Dinan plates maxed out.

Caster wise, these things are ~7 from the factory, not sure how much more caster you want with a 12.5:1 rack ratio for a dual duty car, but I could see wanting more to get the most from the tires
