Square set up with stock wheels?

Either no one's asked, or my search skills are failing me.

For a stock suspension, do the rear BMW style 219 wheels fit on the front with 265/40 tires?

I was thinking of sticking with the factory size, but I could use that size.

The 265/40s, the 265/35s, or the wheels?

the wheel width and offset will likely cause the 265's to rub. not sure if 265/30's would or not.

i had a buddy that saved my tail by trading me a set of rear 220's for a set of front 220's. i had originally put a staggered set of 220 wheels on my girlfriend's 335d and the rears were a bit too wide. so my buddy traded me so i could put all four fronts on my 335d. its cherry now.
however, my friend running four rear 220's on his car has some minor rubbing. not sure what tire size he is running, but it is a sane street size.
