Help, not sure if I like my new wheels....

Design, fitment, I love them... That's not the issue, the set I bought were lightly used and had been painted with a custom orange accent. Thought they may look cool against fire orange, but now im having doubts, I've only swapped one side so still have my 666's on the other side but not sure weather to get the other 2 on, or remove them and have them refurbed all gunmetal, or even a nice fresh silver.

Ignore the rear tyres, they need to be wider, 295 or even 305/30's

Few pics...

I've never been so "on the fence" with a mod, so welcome all comments and criticisms

Honestly took me a little to like the color of your M3. I like it. It's different especially with the rims.

IMO I would have preferred just the outer lip of the rim to be fire orange and the rest gunmetal but none the less fire orange is my favorite individual color out there so I'm jealous regardless.

Thanks man! It's amazing how owning an orange car has led me to other orange things in life, orange suitcase, orange iPhone cover, etc etc...

I think that would have been better also! Thanks for the compliment on the colour!

I love the wheels, but the color accents aren't doing anything for me. Would look so much better as a solid gunmetal. I'm fairly conservative when it comes to mods, so take if fwiw.

I actually think they look good man. Car looks great. I love my 666 wheels and not into crazy mods, but still looks clean classy.

I think it looks fine, I like some of the odd wheel accents like that. It is MUCH better than just doing the old hot wheels stripe around the wheel.

Here is another I like

looks great rolling too

Looks cool IMO, I just don't like the actual wheel you have.

To me it looks like an incomplete paint job. But then again I think most aftermarket wheels look horrible, so what do I know.

I would powder coat your 666M's or try to find a set of the new black 666M's if you want to go dark with the wheels.

For this particular wheel design, I like a brush tinted finish. The design has a lot of corners and grooves that make the light reflect nicely.

I really like it, which includes the cool paint on the spoke. I think it could do without the time attack stripe around the wheel but I really like the individuality over the 666. If I were to do anything o would say loose the painted time attack ring and paint the brakes fire orange

If you need a set of 295s I have an extra set with 10 miles on them. PM me if you want em. Me personally, I think they look good. Love fire orange!

I like them. Something different, but still subtle enough.

Fits with the subtle colour of your car

Just kidding - I do like them.

Fire orange looks superb but the car doesn't need anymore orange, not keen on the design of that wheel but they would look better just black without the orange accents.

Not sure silver will work either, bold colours look better when contrasted against black IMHO.

Not a fan of the wheel style, personally. I much prefer the 666Ms.

Covered up the orange bits to give me an idea, something still doesn't seem right with them.

It's like the rear, instead of concave making it appear aggressive and wide, actually makes the wheel appear sunken in, sort of what Scott was getting at on his last post. Not sure if it's the tyre situation, or the fact I'm used to the wide looking comps with spacers...

I'm starting to lose faith.... Maybe the devil is calling me back
