New benchmark low price for M3 / M4's
Recent rumour confirmed…BMW Corporate wanting to expedite clearance of 2016 built cars. Many would be 2017 compliance. Corporate offering ‘significant’ bonuses to move these machines including new M3 and M4 cars. My brother was looking to move into a M3 and the price offered by Mo @ BMW Melbourne this week was nothing less than crazy.
Amazing value at a new benchmark low price…. |

Yup I got this info also.
Think 12x,000 for a new M3 built in 16, and complianced in 16 or 17. LCI2 Comp Packs are still $135k+. Thank fucking Christ for Full Circle. |

Besides the headlights and seat emblems, there is no difference between an LCI1 and LCI2.
You can easily code iDrive 6 onto an LCI1, and if you have 2-3k, switch to the new headlights also. Actually, when the old seat emblems crack and you need new ones under warranty, just order black ala LCI2 for 12x,000!

Do you know who can code iDrive6 in Melbourne ? I also want to code the updated software for the dampers into my 15' M3 as i am about to lower my car with aftermarket coilovers. Apparently the updated software or coding means that when lowering a car it rides heaps nicer as the car now recognises that the car has been lowered. |

Hi guys, is anyone able to refer me to a dealer in Sydney?
Called one today who had 3 x 2016 builds in stock but had zero luck getting anywhere near $125k. Clearly I suck at negotiating. cheers! |

My 30 Jahre was purchased new at that price point ($130k)
Very happy to get a limited edition at the price I did. I could get a 2017 built and complianced M3 DCT with comp pack at slightly lower price but decided to go with a 2016 built limited edition. Last new 30 Jahre in country I am lead to believe. |

Col Crawford were very good on price. Better than Sylvania at the time.

MWAAAHAHAHAHA really?!
No. The dealer still has to make money. To get down to the prices quoted here, some of us have achieved - some have not, there is no room for a middle man. So..... if you are someone who thinks the price on the sticker is "IT", look away. I run a small business - like most here I suspect - and you get to a point where you accept everyone has to make a dollar to keep going. I could've got maybe $1k more off my car, but what does that cost you over your term. Not much. TLDR: read up, talk to people, read the posts, a little white lie here 'n there (you can't spew wholesale BS to salespeople, they are PRO at it), and then at the end once you've signed - be happy with your choice. No room for buyers remorse, don't look back -get in and drive. Do you think the bloke who buys a 760 or S63 looks back at the depreciation? No, they are too busy smiling |

My last two cars (AMG and M) were purchased from car brokers. I'm no mug. And believe me I'm not stupid.
The cars were many thousands cheaper than the cheapest dealer price I could find. And I worked hard with dealers. They could not get close. So apparently there is room for a middle man after all. |
