Extreme rubbing issue with front 275/35/19 tires on square Arc-8's

Running Firehawk indy 500 tires, stock suspension but slightly lower due to ZCP. Wheels are 19x9.5

I am having extreme rubbing issues with the front tires, turning into parking spaces is damn near dangerous because the front tires get stuck. It's not so much the fenders, but more so the inner wheel well. Any advice on how to get rid of it? I'm considering just throwing my 255's back up front, a little chunk of front tire fell off shortly after putting the new tires on.

You wont be able to run a 35 series with the width of a 275. I had the same problem on mine... although I did get away with it on a Falken tire but for the most part most brands will be to tall with the 35 series. You'll have to go to a 275/30/19 to clear the fender liners. ... I was only able to get a 255/35/19 to fit up front with a normal size brand other than the Falken.

The 35 profile tire is the problem; it's way too tall of a tire. You need to move down to a 275/30 at the very least, or go for a 265/30 if you want to play it safe.

Also I've always run a 275 on my CCWs upfront but a 35 series for most brand tires is just to tall. You'll need to switch to a 30 series on a 275 to clear.

Hmm, would you recommend playing it safe and going with a 265/30? I'm worried that I'll still rub and have four tires just sitting in my garage waiting to go to the rears.

Yeah, considering how bad it is now I would prefer to just jump down to 265/30

Don't think so, we're digging deep into the wheel liner.

A little OT, but can you give us your impressions on the tires?

The are ridiculously low priced and supposed to be pretty good.

Dude, I am in shock at how amazing they are. I am thinking of making a video review pretty soon. I had Pilot Sport AS3's before, the 500's make those tires seem like Chinese $50 tires. Straight line acceleration from a dig is great, nearly 100% grip. Handling and corner is amazing, I push my car around corners and I always make it out on the other side nice and composed. They are very predictable, they talk to you and let you know when you're at your limits. For $500 a set with the rebate, I couldn't be happier man.

Going to Thunderhill August 5th to really test them out

I haven't had any personal experience with PSS's but my friend who has them on his M5 was surprised at just how good they are. Many people say they are a step below PSS's for less than half the cost on the reviews.

It's up to you at this point but depending on the offset, I still think keeping the 275 and just going to a 30 series would be fine. I have a set of track rims and tires and I do 255/35/19 and 285/35/19. The 265/30 would clear no doubt.... as far as going 265/30 you'll be just fine plenty of clearance.
