Freight & PDI
Whats everyone been charged for freight and pdi? I am being charged:
Freight - $1,595 PDI - $1,395 Seems pretty high to me but i would like to hear from everyone else. Wouldnt the PDI be waived if you're doing ED? Thanks in advance! |

I paid $1295 PDI and $1035 freight. This was ED, but does not really matter. They do "PDI stuff" at the Welt, then again at the dealer. The work gets done somewhere.

This is where BMW Canada can improve on. They should have a set price for freight and pdi that all dealers have to follow. But instead, they let the dealers gouge customers and sometimes even use this loophole to charge more for a "high demand" car.

Let's say, I'm selling my MPE to someone. I would inspect my OWN MPE, and then charge the buyer for this "service". I gotta be missing something here. |

Remove shipping blocks, remove plastic wrap, reprogram ECU so that it is not in transport mode, deflate tires to correct PSI ... and that's about all I can think of.
