2016 M3 Purchase advice
UPDATE: Ended up buying a 718 Cayman...awesome cars !!
So... just sold my '16 M4, looking for a F80 M3 and considering this one: http://wwwb.autotrader.ca/a/BMW/M/Ot...orup=20_15_108 But I'm on the east coast and looking for opinions, good or bad on Global Auto sales in Ottawa. Longshot, but would love to find someone in the area that could check out the car for me. Opinions on market value would be great as well. Car is well optioned 6 speed, including MPE.

I live in Ottawa and many of my friends have purchased BMWs from Global Auto Sales, including an M4 and numerous 3 series'. They do sell quite a bit of BMW and I have not heard anything bad about the cars that they sold to my friends. I do not have any personal interaction with them aside from visiting their dealership with one of my friends a few months ago. |

consider buying a 2017 M3 new (while stock level is still relatively high). $2000 factory credit + 6.5-7% off dealer side is likely doable as there are people getting 5% min for MY2018.

Thanks for comments above. Any dealer recommendations in the GTA or Ottawa regions for a good deal on a '17 ?

Read the fine print. Cash purchase/lease/financing Or you can go to BMW.ca m3 configuration and check there |

Only problem with buying new is that optioned up you're still looking at like $88K for a car with options (premium package, M adaptive, upgraded leather (not extended), CF trim. With a 6% discount you're still looking at 83K plus tax = $93K.
You can buy 2015 sedans with two years left of warranty for mid 60s and super low km (under 25,000) which is worth only $73K after tax. To me, I'd pocket the twenty grand myself and drive the slightly used car. |

Nice car at 70k or less (at 80k, they're dreaming). If you really want it, get a 17/18 priced at a BMW dealer then call Global and ask if they're willing to play ball.

It says up to $5K. Not sure what that means. Maybe they're including other credits such as loyalty etc?
I havent seen anything on 2018's. I'm hoping something comes up by October when i take delivery of my car. |

Yes, $5000 factory credit is now available for 17 M3 and 17 M4 (for month of August) on CASH PURCHASE only. $3000 for lease and finance (standard factory credit incentive for Aug)
There must be a huge inventory out there for the M3 as this has never happened before, esp. giving out this much ... at least not since 2009 when they gave out almost $10K, if I recalled correctly http://www.bmw-gta.ca/?gclid=CJmrpePH8NUCFYgCaQodBRMJ5Q Last edited by bobblehead; 08-24-2017 at 02:24 PM.. |

You should be able to get 6% off of a 2018. Why bother with a 2017? That's only a difference of 3k for a one year older car.
I would only buy a 2017 for under invoice and the incentives. |

If you are financing a 17, interest rate is 2.9% for say up to 60 months. I doubt you will get this rate for 18, most likely to be either 3.9%. Combined with an extra $3000 or roughly 3.3% or so on a configured $90,000 17. The difference would be something to consider still over 18 for some people.
