Tpms on new wheels not registering

Hello All,

Looking for some help here with my new tpms before I end up just purchasing another set.

I installed my new wheels/tires/tpms. Tires and tpms were purchased from Tire Rack and mounted/installed by a local shop where I live. The tpms are not registering with the car which is not allowing me to reset them. I can't click on the reset button at all. No tire pressures show. Just a reset tpms alert shows on the screen.

I purchased the only tpms option for my F80 m3 that tire rack offered.

Any ideas? Maybe a bad set? Installed incorrectly?

could be the wrong TMPS for your specific model. I had that happen a few years back when the shop installed the wrong TMPS. It could have been a simple mistake. Thats just one thing to check

Man I hope not, I purchased the only sensor tire rack offered for my car. But I'm going to check with them today!

def worth checking, shipping rep could have easily shipped the wrong set up by accident.

So I talked to Tire Rack and they said i did order the correct tpms but it sounds like they are "asleep" and that I need to deflate the tires a bit then, inflate again to activate them. IDK. Iv never heard of that.
