And no it's not the brake pan. It's no where near as loud as that when you get rocks in there. I have aftermarket wheels and at low speeds you can really hear the clicking. Just doin a simple visual inspection shows nothing abnormal. I don't know if it's louder in the car as you can hear it with the windows rolled up or louder outside the car. It sounds like it's just mainly coming from the rear and maybe even just one side.

Happens when you first get in the car and coasting less than 30mph. After a while the clicking goes away until you get out and back in again no matter how long it is. Guaranteed every time.

But damn if it isn't embarrassing. Any ideas or anyone experience this? Thanks

Are you using OEM or aftermarket wheel bolts?

Sounds like a nail or other metallic object. Might be stuck on the inside tire wall which could be hard to spot on a visual inspection. To rule out a few things you could remove each wheel, check for a nail, and then reinstall and torque the nuts to specs as that could also be the issue but my guess is a hidden nail.

I am experiencing this same exact thing. I just installed aftermarket wheels and I hear the clicking mostly inside the cabin with the windows up. I also started with some extended bolts and switched to oem bolts and the clicking still exists. I plan on removing the wheels to inspect. if you come across a solution please let me know.

Sure it's not your suspension? Mine clinks and clangs.. as soon as I move the car after being parked a few hours.

Goes away though. Happens 100% of the time.

(Completely stock suspension and wheels)

I've been lowered on stock wheels with no problem. Have had aftermarket wheels for about 1000 miles and that's when it started. Within the past 1000 miles. I've had aftermarket suspension for about 5000 miles.

Cool If it Clicks It Exists

Concur with the above about taking the wheel off of the car. OP, do a full inspection ensuring there is nothing stuck on or into the tire. If inspections come clean, roll tire around by hand, there very well may be something inside the tire that either got in during installation or has fallen off from inside the wheel.

Good luck in resolving the issue.

May want to re-examine the break pan...you say it's no where loud...before I pushed mine back it was a very loud embarrassing metal on metal squeal / shriek that would go away and come back. Often when going <25 and when resuming movement after a full stop.

I took my car into the dealership today for this exact issue. They said there's a tsb on this. Still waiting on the car to finish. Another thread on this issue said it could be various things. One guy said his top mount was bad.

I have the same noise but for 3 wheels.
I installed aftermarket wheels, new tires and new aftermarket TPMS.
For sure are some parts from TPMS inside the tire. I am planning to take the tires off soon and check what`s inside.
This might be a idea to check.
