That is another great idea.
This one looks like a better unit that I saw mentioned by "BimmerguyDC" in the other thread (if you're only using it to wash items). Has a pump to force the water out vs. needing a hose to pressurize the water itself. It's technically considered a pressure washer, albeit a very low pressure washer. Unfortunately it costs much more than the rinsekit. https://www.snowjoe.com/products/sun...ressure-washer Last edited by damageprone; 05-25-2017 at 10:39 AM.. |

So I just bought the cordless pressure washer in the link above. Going to use it for the first time this weekend. The condo where I live has a dedicated car wash stall but no power for a electric pressure washer. I'm hopeful this will get the job done.

Will do! So far it looks promising. It's not quite as much power as a standard electric pressure washer (about 300 PSI less) but I'm sure it'll be plenty for the car. Also got a foam cannon, also through Sun Joe, because the one it comes with is fairly tiny.
Amazon has the setup for $200 now. |

Alright, here is what I know. If you don’t have access to water or an outlet, this is a pretty good option. Let’s get one thing out of the way though, if you are expect the power of a pressure washer similar to a high powered 2000 psi unit, this is not it. However, if you think 1000 psi is enough for you then this is going to work out pretty well. Reality is you don’t really need more except for bragging rights. It’s a pretty easy assembly process so I charged the battery up and headed out to the car wash stall. Since there is already a water supply there I didn’t have to fill the bucket. The unit has a connecter where you could either use the bucket on top or simply attach a hose to the base unit. There are 4 tips that it comes with. The 25 degree and 40 degree will be primarily what you work with.
The unit provides enough pressure that it can blast most of the bugs off the front bumper. Also does great on wheels specifically if you spray it down with sonax wheel cleaner first. As mentioned in the post above, the little soap dispenser it comes with it a throw away piece. I bought the foam cannon that SunJoe sells seperately. In my mind this is also a throw away piece except it costs $40. It worked marginally better than the regular garden hose Adam’s foam gun. I ordered a replacement foam cannon made by torq from Chemical Guys. This one will work with a lower PSI and put something more foamy out. The biggest take away is that where rinsing your car off with a hose only takes a minute, it’ll take 4-5 with the pressure washer simply because of the gallons per minute. A hose is about 7 GPM where this pressure washer is about 1 GPM. So here is the recommendation. If you lack either power or water, possibly both, where you prefer to wash your car, this is the tool for you. I’m sure the technology will get better. PS - also used it on my balcony. Worked wonders there. |

Awesome idea. Do you know about waterflosser? Does rinsekit works as same as waterflosser?
