Wear rate of Pagid RS19 or PFC08 with OEM calipers

After learning the HPDE game for a couple of years now, the time has come to put a stronger pad into my stock brakes. So far I've used Stoptech street performance pads and I really liked their combination of cheap price ($80 for a front set), utter reliability, no noise, no drama. But they only last me a couple of track days now, so I think the time has come for an upgrade.

I am deciding between endurance pads like Pagid RS19 or PFC08, which have similar price points, characteristics, and reputation.

My question is to those who track with either of these pads on stock calipers and rotors: how many track days do you get out of a set of front pads?

I know it's a futile attempt to do an expensive hobby cheaply, but every little helps

I have used many track pads in 10 years, including the ones you just mentioned.
Pagids were good if bedded in properly. The only thing was, it was a PITA to follow Pagids instructions exactly for bedding procedure. If not done right, they were useless on the track.
I love PFC-08 now, no need to bed them in, just put them in and go, last longer than anything else I have used so far.
I would recommend to use these pads with PFC two piece rotors on stock calipers.

Might help if you share information on your car's setup, namely the tires and suspension.

It's all stock, have been running Nitto-05 tires, plan to change those to Nitto-01.

I used to run PCF08's on OEM brakes (I did have the StopTech OEM Aero rotor but not sure how much of a difference that really makes). I would get 12-15 track days on a set. I've since switched to a StopTech Trophy kit since I got tired of spending and hour before and after my event swapping pads. The PFC08's for the StopTech kit are insanely expensive so I've switched to the GLOC R10's. I've only had one track weekend on them but I like them.

PFC08 with OEM run insanely long. Had 12+ days still meat left on it.

I run PFC 08s on stock rotors and they are long lasting. I haven't run RS-19s, so I can't comment on them.

My pads, etc. are in a moving truck right now so I can't provide data. However, I ran COTA for three days in June 2016 and Laguna for 3 days (instructor sessions, so not as many minutes as students) in August and there's a ton of meat left on the pad. NT-01s at Laguna and RE-11's at COTA (finished the RE-11s off there).

I've heard good things about Endless pads, but never run them.

To answer dparms question: I only drive "flat out". Ask BigJae.

PFC every time. Works flawlessly, have no bedding procedure whatsoever and if you overheat them they simply wear quicker but perform exactly the same.

To overheat them is almost impossible. It would take slicks and a very determined driver.

Eventually you will want to upgrade to the PFC DD rotors. I'm sure that is better than most 'bbks' people use

I get about 15 days on my RS19's. Just be careful comparing the number of track days people get though. Driving styles and track layouts will have a massive impact on pad life. I have heard the PFC08's and RS19's are comparable though.

Out of curiosity, where are you guys buying your PFC08's from?

All you track rats how often you replace your rotors? They last pretty long i guess.. I am talking about stock rotors btw..

PF brake pads have a bedding procedure which may result in the pad and rotors lasting a little longer.

The difference is they don't cause your wheel to have an epileptic seizure every time you step on the brakes like the Pagids do.

You should still bed in your PFC pads.

Stock rotors don't last long if you're driving hard

Well, if you're fast enough it is likely you're braking quite hard. However, most people with BBKs do not take advantage of them

I always suggest the PFC DD rotor. They last almost forever, cool way better than stock... a great addition

I don't get how you guys drive on the stock brakes. The longest I've had pads last with the stock brakes is 2 weekends.

I have the pfc bbk on both E9Xs we use at the track.

On the E46, I had the pfc dd rotors on stock calipers and they worked extremely well. I drive like a cretin so I doubt I was doing much brake management.

The pfc bbk gives me 34-40 days on the front rotor and pad, the rear is around 100 days for the rotor and pad
