Looking for reputable Dash Cam installer in GTA

Hello

Do you know of any reputable shop that will install 2 channel (Front & Back) Dash Cam with Parking Mode in GTA.

I could probably do it myself but it’s not my expertise and I want clean installation.

I am looking to do something like this.

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1277324

Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

I heard about them but never used either (Lockdown security or Auto-Links) of them.

Do you guys have experience with either of them personally?

I had blackvue installed in two of my BMWs. Very professional and all wires hidden. Would highly recommend Lockdown. A bit of a drive from Mississauga, but was worth it both times.

Wonderful, did you get Dashcam Battery like Cellink B with your Dashcam setup?

I am still torn between Thinkware F770 vs BlackVue DR650GW.

I have blackvue one channel. I didn't get the two channel installed but if I had the option (i.e. if I didn't already have one, I would go for the two channel one). BlackVue comes with PMP i.e. Power Management bla bla. I did have that involved as you need that for parking mode.

See PM.

i had my dealer (BUDDS) install the blackvue system i bought a couple years ago. if you have a good relationship with your service guys it's a good bet in case anything goes wrong down the road and impacts warranty.

Been thinking about this for sometime now, the idea keeps fleeting in and out of my head. Can you share some details? Price of installation? Do they have all the hardware? i am interested in a 2 channel with battery so it operates while I am parked. you can also PM me if you'd like. Thanks

Auto-Links pricing is on their website. $150 for front only. $250 for front and rear.

Price of the camera would vary by type, model etc. I went with blackvue since a groupbuy was offered some time ago. For installation I went to Lockdown. Not sure what their rates are now but installation price was fairly reasonable, I think about $60+HST that included dashcam as well as the power magic kit.

They do tons of security work so have all models available.

If you're looking for 2 channel with battery plus the power management unit, they should have all the hardware. Their labour came with one year warranty. With the BMWs, they do note that it if often more complicated since most of the fuses shut-off after 20 mins and only a few remain turned on. You need to be plugged into one of the active ones for the parking mode to work.

I would highly recommend Lockdown though. Jeff there is a great guy.

Thank you for sharing!

To confirm, is this Lockdown Security located on McIntosh Drive in Markham? There is one with the same name located in Scarborough.

Yes the markham one. I got a single channel hardwired once. It was a good job. They charge 100 for dual.
