Hi all

Can anyone recommend a place to stay in Monterey? Prices are high, but I'm making a vacation of this so I would prefer a good place with safe parking.

Also, anyone else going?

Quail lodge is expensive, but a fantastic place to stay. I've stayed there twice.

I may stay at the mission ranch or the seven gables inn this time around though... depends on price.

I just need a cheap place to crash so I'm just staying at the EconLodge for $112/night

I stayed at Stage Coach Lodge. It's somewhere between the Quail and Econo Lodge.

Faux pas.

I had good experience with AirBnB for the Monterey and surrounding areas. Price is reasonable and the stays are always pleasant.

i have never used air bnb... just looked into it and found a few great places that are reasonably priced. looks like a great option. the place i usually stay at is too much money right now.
