Noob fitment question

hey guys im in the market for an e90 m3 as i just sold my 335i. I have apex arc-8 wheels and brand new r888 tires left over and was curious if theyd fit the car.

17x9 et30 245/40/17
17x9.5 et35 275/40/17

I figured a 5mm spacer in front and a 10mm in the rear would do the trick?

what are your thoughts?

Thanks

Pav, appreciate the support. Your wheels will bolt up to the E90 M3, but you will likely want to run 12mm spacers up front, and either 15mm, 18mm or 20mm spacers in the rear (depending on how flush you want them).

Pretty sure the tires are too small.

M3 runs 245/40/18 factory, so, your tires are way too small for the M3.

Wheels wise, it could work, but you'll need to run spacers.

True, ideally he would run 245/45-17 or 255/40-17 up front.

OP, the setup can certainly work, but when you factor in purchasing spacers front and rear and the appropriate extended hardware, as well as the front tire height dilemma (short), it really makes sense to sell that complete set to someone on E90post and pick up a set more suitable for the E9X M3 chassis.

Let me know if you have any questions in that regard.

I'm pretty sure Apex ARC-8s in 17s clear the M3 brakes. Only by a hair ,but I believe they clear.
