Need help with 20" tire sizes

Whatsup guys.

Just picked up a set of BC Forged RS41 20x9.5 +20; 20x11 +40

I'm in NYC so roads are shitty. I want to put the most meat I can on the fronts, so did some math and 255/35/20 F and 295/30/20 R are almost exactly the same OD.

I know most ppl go with 265/30 295/30 but that's 10mm less sidewall upfront.

Anyone know if ill be good with the 255/35 295/30 setup?

Thanks

I'm running 275/30 up front and it is very close to the rear diameter of 295/30. At like 1.x%. No rubbing either with same size and spec wheel as yours plus I am lowered 1" in front.

they arent the same OD as stock, they would just be the same OD front and rear.

I have the HAS kit i just havent installed it yet, wouldnt be slamming it either, just bring it down to top of the tire.

Your OD is 26.5", mine would be 27.03"

i would love to run a 35 series front tyre on my zcp for exact reasons you point out

ideally i'd like to run the same tyre setup as the m5 - 265/35/20 and 295/30/20 as they use same size rim as zcp

however looking at how close the front sidewall comes to the inner fender liner on lock, i just don't think the taller OD of even a 255/35/20 (27") vs oe zcp 265/30/20 (26.3") will fit

Hi there,

I just picked up a 2yr old M4 and it has Koya 20 inch rims fitted, the front tyre is a 255/35 and has little to no issues with rubbing. Car also has KW height adjustable springs and has been lowered about 15mm at the front.

Cheers,
