AR 390SS quick connect on end of hose

I have the ar 390ss pressure washer, and am trying to add a quick connect socket to the end of the high pressure hose (so I can quickly swap from a lance to a gun). I tried a "standard" M22 to 3/8" socket adapter, but could not get the end of the hose to attach to it--the inner diameter of the adapter was just a bit too small.

Has anyone had success with this?

Thanks.

I had the same problem. I used sand paper and a metal filer to file away the inside of the M22 side. Basically make the inner diameter bigger so it fits. Pic attached.
It was kind of tedious Bc it takes a while and you have to make sure you do it evenly. But on the up side it only needs to be like half a millimeter bigger so you don't have to remove that much of the metal.

You need an M22 15mm adapter, not an M22 14mm. I'm sure a little digging online will turn one up.

I had the same issue. I took my Dremel and sanding attachment and simply spent 2 mins to enlarge the hole. No issues at all and was better than having to track down a new part. Good luck.
