Chuckwalla STAR track days

Just got back from a weekend at Chuckwalla with their in-house "STAR" track event. I really liked the format. It's basically a running clock with 3 groups running every 20 minutes. I ran in the open passing group for the first time. Everyone cooperated very well on the track and there were a lot of very fast cars in the group. A lot of friendly people as well. I was probably in the slower 1/4 of the group and my best time was 2:10:53. We got 6 20 minutes sessions each day for $325 for the weekend.

I'd definitely recommend it.

i've heard they put on their own events, but when i looked on their website, it wasn't obvious when it was their own day. i'll have to take another look.

These are excellent events at a fun and technical track.

I have done many star-car events and prefer them over most of the other options. They generally have very few cars in attendance. Lots of track time and very little traffic.
