TTFS
Ended up grabbing their black friday deal of 20% off BMW tunes. I'll be heading up to TTFS on the 29th to have my car dyno tuned!
Anyone else had their car tuning by them? Looking forward to feeling the difference from the standard VF engineering tune. |

He's big on the E46 forums, ppl there have seen nice hp increases over the other bigger name tuners for the E46 M3.
I'd be interested to see what he could do for the E92 |

So it turned out mine was one of the first cars done by VF and had a special encryption which ended up being a HUGE pain to get cracked but Frank eventually figured it out. Frank and his son Gabe are great guys and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back to them for anything. They wanna do everything 100% the right way, no shortcuts. Overall I'm really happy with the tune, it's noticeably stronger than the VF tune and so so sooooo much more refined in every way possible. For anyone looking I would definitely recommend Frank for a e9x tune!
Here's a vid of some of the dyno pulls. It was 29*F in the dyno room, so it was hard to get heat in both the dyno and my tires. That paired with needing to strap my car down so tight ended up cambering the rear wheels and decreasing the contact patch which led to a good bit of wheelspin. Ended up putting down 565 on my last run, but still had some wheel spin. Frank said it probably had 575-580 on a warmer day with traction. |
