Ze40 wheel help

I've decided to get ze40s or advan rs but prefer ze.

This is for my e92 which I track a ton and want staggered. Problem is finding r comps which are the appropriate size to fit they ze40s as they recommend 19 inch 9.5 frontage 10.5 rear. The tires I like don't Coe in sizes that fit this.

I also don't want to trade off and have super heavy tires that are wide as I don't feel I need more than the 245/275 on oem zcp I have now.

So I found out they make a 8.5 inch with offset of 36. Oem 19s (non zcp) are 8.5 with 29 offset.

Now would that fit fine if I just add a 7mm spacer? Also would a 7mm spacer or 10mm spacer be bad for the track or other handling character? If I coukd use 8.5 front and9.5 rear I would be able to use the r comps I like in a 245/265

If this is purely a track wheel set I would give some serious thought to getting Apex wheels or the new Bimmerworld forged offering. Really need to see track wheels as a potentially consumable item (though hopefully not too often). If you also want to run them on the street, I totally understand getting something nicer.

Then I would also think about going square. I bought a staggered wheel set 18x10 et25 fronts 18x10.5 et27 rears and really wish I went square now. With a heavy car like ours it is much easier to maximize tire life with wheel rotations and square makes that a lot easier. I am actually running square RE-71R's on my staggered set now and plan to do tire off rotations between track weekends, I'm that desperate to increase tire life. Hopeful to get 6 or maybe 8 track days out of this set, we'll see.

Another good thing about having a purely square set is that you can buy just one extra wheel and tire to bring to the track with you and have a spare on hand.

A square set in Apex or the BW forged wheels seems like the best bet to me

You really want 275 up front, the car feels wonderful at the track with a square setup. Maybe wider in the rear, but definitely not at the expense of narrower on the front
