Please provide feedback on my track-related survey

I am doing a biostats project that consists of collecting and analyzing data, and I figured I'd do something car/track related. I want to see if driver experience level, car and driver safety items, and whether or not the car is driven in public influence how many on-track "events" (described below and in survey question) you'll have in one day at a track event. What I'm trying to assess is how much risk people take at the track, and if that is correlated with experience, safety items, whether or not the car is driven in public. I do not want to include any data from a W2W race because they will skew the results. I know there are A LOT more variables that influence "events" than the three I listed, but the project's requirements greatly limit what I can do. I am looking for a somewhat exact number of events that occur in one day and would prefer that over an estimate. For example I had 11 incidents at TWS in June.

My pooling of the "events" may cause confusion due to the 90° correction part. I understand that those who push their cars may have to correct multiple times in a single lap and that it may be a normal occurrence. I have included this with the other incidents anyways to assess the level of risk being taken, because I believe that you are taking more risk by pushing your car to the limit (which may result in the need to make corrections). An example of what I'm talking about is at 1:50 in the video posted below. Normal occurrence, but something that I want included in the survey. Drifting for fun is also included in the pool of events, so if you like to drift for fun (86 and a few others on here), please include those events in the survey.

Survey is linked below. It shouldn't take more than two minutes to read and fill out. If you have time, please share the link to the survey with others and/or on another forum.

Thanks

I did, but your question stated the last track event. My last track event was Willow Springs where the consequences of an off are ... catastrophic, so was much more careful than I usually am, lol.

Pffffftttt -- I've been off at WS a few times. No big deal if you have mad skills once you've run out of talent. There's a reason my race car rocked a John Deere sticker on it.

Haha yeah. When I was new to Willow Springs I went off twice from turning in too early for turn 9.

Best thing to do in this situation is just go down pit lane instead of trying to save the world by getting back on track.

Boulders are at Spring Mountain. WS has rocks. Just steer around them.

And that pesky wall. There's a video with a mustang... I'm sure you've seen it. It would hurt me to post a link.

Done, but I will probably be one of your outliers. Advanced, and last HDPE event I can recall 0 incidents per your definition. That said, it was Road America, and I think that track has way too many hard things to hit to get too aggressive. Also, tracked a Golf R32 for many years before switching to the M3 two years ago, so probably still being conservative while still learning the car on track.

Just wanted to post so you didn't think it was a junk/dishonest response.

Will do. There doesn't seem to be much correlation though.

Yeah, like I said, there are many factors that may influence the number of events, but the project's requirements limit what I can do.

You're actually in the majority. Most responses were 0 and 1. Maybe people didn't interpret my question the way I hoped, causing this.
