Those two cars he hit are just as guilty IMO.
You cant just stop on the race track like that. I bet they didn't even check their rear view mirrors.

The tata was attempting to do the right thing and the M3s were busy playing racecar driver, accident doesn't happen if leading M3 completes the pass but he was ambushed by his own stupid and stomped the brakes; speeds there are 90+ before hohe acht, you can be doing 35-40mph and look stopped. But flagging and lights at the Ring suck a whole lot and there wasn't a great deal of easily visible warning either.
When I did the Ring I obeyed the slow zones by dropping down to the speed limit asked of us at the ambulance entry etc. I can count on one hand the number of cars that did the same; saw one near miss with a safety vehicle entering, and of course the ones who were ignoring it were also slow as shit and couldn't drive a golf ball and immediately held me up a few corners later. Lots of people with target fixation, lots of people out of their depth, absolutely no help from anybody but the ambulance and the wrecker. when people question the need for so much infrastructure adn rules-based checks and balances in club racing I tell them to google nurburgring crash videos.
