I've had some people PM me about $25 off coupons, so I thought I'd post here instead. First off, the codes that SCCA posts expire, but as long as you redeem them before expiration, they will be valid after expiration.

For example, I added an April event to my cart in March and used a coupon that expired at the end of March. Two days before my event, I removed my novice group registration from my cart (so there was nothing in my cart at this point), then added an intermediate registration. Coupon was still valid, and when I went to checkout, I paid the discounted $125. So my point is that as long as you redeem the code before expiration, it will remain valid after expiration.

Sorry for not responding to your PM, got a little busy. I have not seen any coupons yet, but I'll keep an eye out. In the meantime, I would suggest adding the event to your cart but holding off on payment (assuming your local event doesn't sell out quickly).

They do have a deal going on where SCCA members who register for an April event this month only pay $50, and non-members pay $100 for both the event and a one year membership.

And if you're in the Seattle area, you'll notice that there aren't any April events. Email Jack Track and he'll set you up with a $50 discount on your next event. Unclear if this still includes the 1 year SCCA membership.

Registered for may 10th at thunderbolt but didn't use $25 coupon.
Were you able to cancel and reregister with coupon?

Sometimes they will ding you with a fee for canceling.

I would cancel then re-register with coupon. I like to add the event to my cart and pay like a day or two before the event date, just in case anything comes up.
