I use a Sony AS20. Works great, but you'll have to drill a hole in the included waterproof case if you want to use internal mic.

I use this one and it has served me well. And for $30 I won't cry if it breaks or whatever:

recently got this mic buffer. the small foam thing that comes with the mic is kinda cheesy and i think it will fall off. so i bought this and zip tied it on. http://www.amazon.com/Movo-WS1-Micro...ilpage_o04_s00 i used this adapter http://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Mic-Adap...lpage_o01_s00\

In my experience of putting the mic on the back bumper, the included foam tip was sufficient to muffle wind noise.

i did just that, but the tiny foam buffer didn't really secure to the mic very tightly. i got a small zip tie on it, but i still felt like it was going to fly off.
