New JB4 user. Help with Map 2 F82 M4 slight stutter E85/91.

Ive somewhat read about this online and also noted in N54tech. I guess some people have these problems too and maybe its too much E85, but id appreciate the help if anyone can.

Car and mods are F82 M4 DCT, BMS intake, VRSF down pipes, 4 gallons E85 the rest 91oct, 52 degrees outside.

Having a slight stutter doing pulls on map 2. Map 1 seems fine. Doesn't a stock s55 get 16-20psi? Im only seeing 15 wish map 1 and 16-17 map 2. Is this correct?

I think with 91oct you should only put about 3 gallons of e85. You might of made a e40 mixture instead of a e30 mixture

I'll add a gallon or 2 to this tank, then try it again. How much boost does a stock s55 make?

Looks like you set your boost safety too low and you are just running the stock maps. Best to post logs on n54tech if you need professional tuning support.

yea they got back to me there. I had the user adjustable setting all zeroed out. I changed them to the default settings like Terry advised.

What are you guys using for the max boost settings for 1st-3rd gear. Would really like to gain some traction as the 295's didn't help any lol.

The JB4 won't / can't target below stock so just set it high and it will only reduce to stock levels. essentially turning the JB4 off in the lower gears.

don't you mean set it low then? If you set it high say 22 wont it try to go that high vs say 16.

All OBDII based versions use a boost cap per gear. You can adjust that cap the same whether you use the windows app, iphone app, or the in dash menu.

Do you know if this is that latest version? If not where can I download it? Ill probably need the cable to do that right since I only have the iphone app.

actually since i changed the default settings the stutter went away. I will do more runs today to make sure.
